“The Lab12 True/Suara preamp/power amp combination is for listeners whose primary interest lies in tonal character, transparency, and subtle dynamic detail.”

“Considering its price, the Lab12 preamp/power amp combination performs exceptionally well, in some aspects outstandingly: in terms of tonal realism and transparency, it certainly holds its own against significantly more expensive tube designs.”

“Excellent microdynamics. The withdrawal of a phrase, vibrato shading, and breath sounds are preserved as independent information and are neither emphasized nor smoothed over.”

“Uncolored yet vibrant midrange – with a touch of sonority and that subtle warmth one appreciates in good tube amplifiers. Voices retain their individual timbre even in dense ensembles, consonants remain crisp, and the lyrics are intelligible.”
